I am writing this to express my sincere appreciation on the great job Jeannie Apostole did in selling my condo.
About a month ago we did a standard Wednesday offering after a weekend of open house. We were hoping for multiple offers as they are so common these days. Unfortunately for some reason, no one confirmed offers the afternoon before the 6pm offer time. Jeannie picked up the phone and called all the agents who expressed interests and she was able to secure 2 solid offers. This is proactive selling instead of order taking. We were able to sell the house 9% over asking price.
We thought it would be smooth sailing after taking the offer. Unfortunately the buyer is a naive buyer, the buyer's agent is uncommunicative because of a language barrier and the loan broker is not responsive. What's the chance of that happening? Jeannie persevered. She's made numerous calls into the buyer's agent and the loan broker. She even managed to talk to the agent's wife and the loan processor. Finally we were able to close escrow successfully.
Besides these, Jeannie has a wealth of knowledge in Bay Area real estate and she's a lot of fun to work with. I won't hesitate to recommend her to anyone in buying or selling a home.

I've tod her about you before and repeated my mantra that she really needed someone experienced to deal with a buyer's market and all the legalistic part of listing, disclosing, and selling. We're in Idaho where the real estate market is C-O-L-D-E-R than the weather. Many million dollar+ condos are being built in Ketchum where the skiing is. Who will buy?
P.S. As difficult physically and emotionally as it was to get the house ready so fast for all of us, I'm glad that we pulled it off given the cooling of the market! For once my pessimistic thoughts were right! I'd spent 6 weeks reading USA Today articles about cooling real estae markets and wanted the house sold."
